Such a tiny check but so happy!!!

So I've been very down lately. When I first got engaged I thought oh wow I'm going to do so many craft projects (which I've never done before) like make my own card box, ring bearer pillow etc. Then when I started shopping for the materials I got totally overwhelmed (like almost in tears in the store!). And then I got a little depressed... But then decided fine, I'll buy that stuff from etsy but surely I could make things like the programs and menus myself. Then I started to doubt myself (depressed again). But today I designed my menu card and printed a test run and they look awesome!!! So happy!

I agree. Stay calm because once you get the design you absolutely love, it is such a wonderful feeling to know you've done it yourself! To me that's the best part of DIY! I understand the frustration, but if you try not to get overwhelmed, it is well worth it!

I totally understand I too sometimes experience these ebbs and flows of emotions but hang in there! Congrats on your awesome check!

Congrats! A check is a check!

I'm the same as you, I'm not crafty at all but once I got engaged I got all these grand ambitions about DIY. That stopped pretty quickly, and I decided just to focus on a couple of things that I could take the time to perfect.

You've got plenty of time to work on things for your wedding. Try not to get overwhelmed...ask some friends, family members, and BM's for help if you need it, or at least vent to them lol. It'll take some of the pressure off and make you feel better.
