Suffolk County - Manicures

I am moving to Ronkonkoma, any suggestions as to where I can get a good manicure. I have acrylics

I have acrylic also and I am VERY particular on who does my nails and she does a GREAT job!!

Went to Apple Nails on portion road for a wedding party manicure day. They did a good job.

Michelle, I go to Pretty Nails in Smithtown, and I LOVE them. Clean, friendly and CHEAP! I had acrylics for 7 years, but I took the wraps off in September. I was sick of the maintainance. Unfortunately my nails are now a horror show, but I'm hoping that with regular manicures they'll start looking better.

don't know of any michelle, but jennrenee, i just took my wraps off tonight & cut my nails down for the first time in years & i feel free! i was also tired of the maintanance and i wanted to let my nails breathe. i'll put them back on for my wedding in may.

Jennbaby ~ Doesn't it feel good?! I hate the growing out look that I have right now, but getting that hour back every 2 weeks is so worth it for me!

I go to Angel Tips in Smithtown. They are very clean and reasonable. Everytime I go, I run into someone I know not knowing they went there

I dont look at my nails as a pain...its one hour every 2 weeks that I do something just for me!!
Now when I get a facial in the same week...**** I dont know what to do with myself!! LOL

Thats the way I look at it. I have been a terrible nail biter all my life, I mean really bad! This is something that I have to do or I will bite my nails

I'm in the same situation Cindy ~ I was a nail biter all my life, and I need to keep up on my nails to avoid falling back into old habits. I just much prefer my 20 minute $7 manicure (or 45 min. $20 man/ped ) to an hour long, $30 fill in.
