suffolk county weddings...
is anyone looking for a place to take pictures before going to their reception hall???im in search of a place that has a nice garden or greenhouse (in case of foul weather)
Found a great hidden treasure if its nice out but worried about if its not. any help appreciated.

i was going to suggest the Holtsville Ecology center but then I saw your reception was at Villas. Why dont you just take pictures there?

Holtsville has some nice spots, but if it is bad weather, you only have one place inside to take pics at Holtsville.I second Villas. I got married there, and you have GREAT picture taking areas, inside and outside

My wedding is at Villa Lombardi too (May 10th)! I'm just planning on doing my pictures there.

we are doing allot of pictures there also, but we are the late wedding there (ceremony at 8:00 at villas)and cannot get into the place until an hour and a half before. so in our downtime we are looking for like an hours worth of additional pictures.

That is my sister's B-DAY!!!!I was going to say if it was in the summer, you would have great shots because the sun goes down late. Duh..I should have known it was May...this is the May thread
I will have to think about other places.
Have you though maybe any beaches???
Like maybe Cedar beach?

There is an arboritum somewhere not sure exactly but someone told me when I posted my questions about a beach site for me.BTW
I am actually looking for a beach scenery spot on the way from Farmingdale to smithtown I dont have too much time, anyone know which would work best? I heard Short beach may be close enough.
