Funny you should post this. I am going to my first appointment with a new OBGYN next Thursday. I'm going to see Dr. Jennifer Marshak of Suffolk OBGYN. They have a few locations in Suffolk. I'm going to the Port Jeff location but they also have offices in Smithtown, Wading River and Patchogue. I've heard very good things about this practice, a co-worker of mine and her daughter go there. Her daughter see's Dr. Marshak, she just gave birth and loves her.

I use Suffolk OBGYN but I go to the Port Jefferson Office. I am not 100% if it is affiliated with Mather, but I would guess that it is being that the office if directly across the street from the hospital.

ETA: I've been going there since I was 16 and I see Dr. Strittmatter. He is great! Quick and easy to talk to.

I go to Suffolk OBGYN as well. I will be delivering at St. Charles. But I guess if one doctor doesn't take your insurance, then the whole practice doesn't.

As a new patient with Suffolk OBGYN it makes me feel so much better about going there now that I've heard a few girls speak so well of the practice, in particular the doctor I'm going to see.

I m my OB office. Dr. Michael Arato and Dr. Theodore Blaszyck. They have a main office in Stony Brook and a satellite office in Wading River. They deliver at Stony Brook and St. Charles. They are regular and High risk ob/gyn and also infertility specialists.
