Suffolk Salon Reccomendations for Day Of

so i had originally planned on having a hair and makeup artist come to my parent's house where my girls and I will be getting ready, but my mother just informed me that she is absolutely not having that happen at our house

soooo unless i decide to book a hotel suite for all of us to get ready in (which i really do not want to do), i need to find a salon that will do hair and makeup the morning of.

Any recommendations for salons in the Smithtown area that will do this? I've heard T Carltons does it- any reviews would be much appreciated.

Bocu Salon in Commack. Myself and my bridal party are going to be using them for hair, makeup I have someone coming to the hotel.

I have not picked hair/makeup vendors yet... but they are in the running. A good friend of mine recommended them and spoke very highly of them.

I had my hair done there for my bridal shower.. Oh my god, it was rough. I had a very bad experience as a teen so never went there until the day of my bridal shower. I decided to have my hair done last minute, and my hairdresser was booked, so I went to bocu instead.

What a bad mistake. They got hair dye all over my forehead - helmet head for sure. I had to pull my bangs down do hide a bit of the mess. And I had my hair curled and it looked rough. Like a bad prom hair-do. Had to pull out all the pins as soon as I got home and re do myself. Spent so much money there and it looked terrible.

I don't know who is a good hair dresser there, the lady I had was sweet, but horrific in doing hair.

I've promised myself never ever to go there again no matter how desparate I am.
