suffolk tax on halls?

i remember people tlking about the tax going down in suffolk or went down

on my contract it says 8.75% tax
it went down right

My hall is CLM did anyone ask about this???

I was wondering the same thing. My contract says 8.75% also, but I think it's 8.625% now

It did go down, it was not too long before I booked (every BM made a point to say that the tax was lower).

I think it's more something like 8.3625%

I looked up the sales tax in NY...

NYC - 8.375
Nassau - 8.625
Suffolk - 8.625

Here is an old post about it. For some reason, I thought the tax on halls was lower but, I was wrong.
