Other than the 'usual' things (bakeware, cookeware, sheets, etc), what should i add to my registry?

i do not know if you are allowed to use luggage locks. i have heard in the past that sometimes the airline personal clips the locks.

The locks *MUST* be TSA approved. That means the TSA has a key and can open the luggage with the approved key. If they are not approved they might/will be cut off!
IMHO, if the TSA lost a key by accident, what stopes a baggage handler from swiping a key. VERY unlikey, true.

maybe some organizational things... like those wicker basket for your closets. Also, decorative things, like Vases or a nice bowl, or even frames

ooh, just remembered...my sister in law registered for her chandelier from Pottery Barn. Said she'd never want to spend the money on one for herself. Great idea!

Re: suggest items to add to my registry
In general, the stuff that you otherwise wouldn't buy (so the nice dishes and stemware). We've been living on our own for a few years now, so we have most of what newlyweds are looking for (dishes, kitchen stuff, etc.), so we're thinking about starting a honeymoon registry too - allows people to give towards the honeymoon.
