Suggestions for Hair/Make-up trials

One of my really good friends went for her hair/make-up trial the other day and she absolutely hated it. She said the girl that was doing her hair was pushy and did not want to do what my friend wanted and then she just turned to my friend and said, 'OK time is up, you have to go get your make-up done now.' My friend was in tears. She is getting married at the end of February in Melville. So something in Suffolk or the Nassau/Suffolk border would be great. And she also paid $215.00. I thought that was a lot for a trial. Please let me know any suggestions and names of specific people you have used. Thanks

I used Jacqeline Nicole from www.prettyme.com
She is listed under services here under makeup.She did a beautiful job.

I used Jackie from I Make Up You. She was awesome!!!! She's also a vendor on this site and she credits the trial $$ towards your wedding day if you book her.

Best of luck to your friend!!!

Edited to say: I used her already for my trial. My wedding isn't until Oct 03. Just wanted to clarify!

I recommend Jaquelyn Nicole for Makeup.

I have a trial with Jennifer from Fairytale for hair on 1/13, I'll let you know how it goes.

Okay I am extremely picky about hair and makeup and Pauline is excellent.... She is a bridal attendant, make-up artist and hair stylist.... She costs about 300 on the day!!! But I enthusiasticlly recommend her.... I also went to Madison Avenue Make-Up artists in NYC, Kimara Ahnert, and both myself and FI thought Pauline did a much better job!!! She is terrific!!!
