Suggestions for hotels in San Juan

FH and I decided to stay in San Juan a few extra days after our cruise. Any suggestions??

I was looking at the Wyndham Condado or Wyndham El San Juan. Has anyone stayed at either?

I havent stayed at either hotel, but I have stayed at the San Juan Hotel + Casino. IMO it's the best of the best!!!

I stayed at the Ritz Carlton in San Juan. It was really nice. I definitely recommend the club level.

I stayed at the Wyndham El San Juan and really enjoyed it. The beach and pool were great! We also liked all of the restaurants. This hotel is also where many people from other hotels come to party because of the lobby bar, the club and the hotel casino. I liked that I didn't have to leave my hotel - I think I even won in the casino.

My family and I always stay for a night or two before our celebrity cruise - I haven't stayed at either of those but I will recommend either the Intercontinential OR the Caribe Hilton - both are great hotels - if you want more info about those hotels I would ask at cruise critic

which cruise are you taking?

We stayed at Wyndham El San Juan and liked it. It's very nice inside and the restaurants are great.
However, the food, drinks, etc are expensive there though. I think we paid about $50 for lunch (2 sandwhiches and 2 pina coladas ) Like someone else said, this hotel is like 'THE place' to go at night, so the prices are higher and the hotel was packed at night.
