We are planning on doing our ES when we are in NY in April. Suggestions for places? thinking more woodsy, but open to suggestions. i remember someone's dya after shoot having some castle ruins or something--anyone know where?

Sands point preserve has castles and also woods, I think. They have a website. There us also Avalon Park, I think that is in suffolk.

Avalon Park at the Stony Brook Duck Pond fits that...maybe the castle ruins you're talking about is King Zog's ruins? I think that's in Brookville or Muttontown, but I don't think it is open to public. Also Frank Melville Park in Setauket is nice, Planting Fields Arboretum in Brookville...were you looking to stay more Nassau or Suffolk?
