Suggestions for RH

Re: Suggestions for RH

East Wind is big enough and relatively inexpensive, Mediterranean Manor is another.

Also, there's the West Lake Inn in Patchogue ...it looks like a steakhouse on the outside but it was just redone inside, and it's a HUGE single event space. It's actually really nice - it was our second choice based on the menu, but it was just waaaay too big for our rinky-dink little 170 people.

def check out Chateau la mer...It was around $85 pp for those months on a saturday, but thats without tax and gratuity, which if you include that its a little over $100 but not much over...ANd you get ALOT for your money

$85 for may or june??
I was quoted over a hundred for July, I think, it def wasn't 85, but I never actually met with them, I just remember something like 105 or 115...I could def. be wrong though.

yeah 105 with gratuity, i said above that with tax and gratuity its just a little over $100...so 105 about if you get extras thats different too

East Wind has a large enough room- but I don't believe it is under 100, we paid 160 (with some extras) for a saturday evening in July 2006-and I'm sure it went up- I believe the base was 125...)

Watermill- MAYBE- large enough room- but not sure about a saturday evening during the summer- it may be a bit over 100-

Do you have a preference for Nassau or Suffolk?

Re: Suggestions for RH

Honestly I dont think Chateau La Mer will fit over 300 people, it will be way too tight. I would suggest where I'm getting married, Bridgeview Yacht Club. It holds up to 400 and when I checked pricing peak months on Saturday night was 105pp with a 150 person minimum...if you guarantee 200-225 I am sure they would be more negotiable with prices/extras. Work with Kathy, she is fabulous if you decide to go look at it.

I know Westbury Manor quoted me 125pp for a sat night with a 225 minimum in peak months so that is over what you are looking to spend.

Also, I would try...
Swan Club
Fox Hollow CC
Crest Hollow CC

hmmm that is true...CLM told us they fit 300 but honestly I couldn't imagine 300 ppl in there, it would go so far back and the room gets narrower, thats why we couldnt do it plus we might have over 300...I mean you can still check if you want...I had 150 ppl there for my e-party and couldn't imagine double.

I did hear BYC has great prices

Do you think if I do it maybe on Sunday of Memorial Day weekend it would be more or less expensive than a Saturday night?

I thought they would do that but the RH i looked at said it was the same price for that weekend

holiday weddings are becoming VERY popular so i think thats why they dont do it for less anymore

I dont think so... We looked around at Sat nights, but no one gave us a deal b/c it was Memorial Day. That wekend is pretty popular; I have five date twins on here already!

What about the Surf Club in New Rochelle, they hold up to 600 pp. I had my prom there, its nice and on the water. For additional help go to www.weddingsitesandservices.com, it can look at RH's from all over the 5 boroughs and LI.
