Suggestions needed please - places with plus sized sample dresses to try on!

I've only been to RK Bridal - not a big selection of plus sized dresses. I found 2 I like so far but I'm not in love with them. I really wanted to have the lady helping me (she was sooo nice though) just bring in a size 12 or 14 in the style I liked. if I couldn't get it on maybe just hold it up or something to get an idea.

I am going to Macy's Bridal Salon tomorrow and found out already that some of the Demetrios dressees there (samples) might fit. Then I am going to shoot over to My Lady Bridal if I have time since they have Private Label and PC Mary's dresses, there are some I want to try on there. I don't know if they have any plus sized samples.

I don't want to buy something without trying on and I'm even considering having a dress custom made for me because of the lack of plus sized samples out there. Does anyone know of any other places?? Something in the city or Nassau Co. is preferable.

Not that you have to buy there but davids bridal has all sizes that you can try on some of the dresses are beautiful and can be ordered elsewhere good luck

I like that idea, however I thought that David's Bridal only carried their own lines of dresses? Do they have others that the other stores have? Oh I hope so, that would be a lifesaver!

I think so if not most of their stuff is cpoies so at least you could get a very close idea of how a certain style will look. I am sure you will look beautiful whatever you choose

One of my girlfriends is a size 22 and David's had a large selection for her to try on.

If you want to take a ride to Patchogue, there is Bridal Suite and they have a whole room of plus sized samples.

I got mine at Davids and they had a ton of plus size dresses to try on. I also went to Estelles and they had a good selection also.

Helen's Bridal in Commack had plus size dresses to try on. Also look at alfredangelo.com. They have a very nice selection of plus sized gowns, and they have a link to show which stores carry their dresses. I'm seriously considering getting an Alfred Angelo, but it's too soon for me to decide. Best of luck!

Blanches in East Rockaway had dresses in size 12 and 14

I am a size 20 and I got my dress at Davids. They were helpful. Sometimes it can be very busy and kind of crazy, but the price was right and the dress fit perfect on my wedding day. There is a David's in Carle Place. They have alot of dresses in larger sizes. Also I think Alfred Angelo has dresses in larger sizes too.
