Suggestions on somthing really nice to do

Darren and I were supposed to go to a wedding last ngiht, however, during the day while working he fell off a ladder and is not moving around so well. I called and left the bride a message at home but I feel simply aweful! What can I do/make/send to show how bad I really feel.
(we are going to send them the card that we were going to give them at the wedding) I am jsut looking for a little somethign extra to say I am sorry I missed one of the most important days of your life.

maybe offer to take them to dinner / have them over for dinner when they get back? Or offer to sit through the wedding video?

All you can do is apologize and I agree with you send the card. Darren getting hurt can't be helped.

I hope he feels better

if you wanted to do more, i would send flowers...like all white to be wedding-like. but i dont think you owe anyting extra.

ETA: hope hes ok!

I think the fact that you called and left a message, and already sent out the card, is perfectly fine.

If you are close enough and want to take them out to dinner when they return, that is a very sweet gesture

Feel better vibes to Darren!

I agree with everyone else, you send a card and apologized. I hope he feels better.

are they on a hm?
when they return send them a basket of coffee, fruit, snacks etc as a welcome home gift.

That's a nice idea.
