I need ideas for what to give my MOH I am stumped.
She is 30 Has a 17 month old daughter She works part time Is allergic to most jewerly Does not have a 'favorite' perfume no specific hobbies
I have already gotten my girls jewerly sets from a designer but I know she will not be able to wear it for long since she is allergic, so that is a wasted gift for her- any other suggestions?

Does she have a favorite store? Restaurant? Spa?
You could offer to babysit and give her gift certificate for her or for her and her husband to go to lunch and shop or go to a spa for the day sans her child - so like a day of rest.
Or could you find someone to babysit and take her yourself. I know my FSIL tells her husband that is the kind of thing she WISHES people would get her just like a mini day vacation

Christine I love the idea-- but no one is allowed to watch the baby!
But now I was thinking about the purse pen-- maybe a nice organizer since she is trying to start an at home business.

Otherwise, is there anything you two have seen while shopping together that she loved? That would be a nice surprise!

That is the problem-- no time together EVER
I honestly don't know if she would even let me watch the baby while she went for a day of beauty-- I really mean NO ONE is allowed to watch the baby
Her view is her baby her responsibility-- that is why I am soooo stumped. She has been devoted to her daughter for the past 17 months.

Hmm...I get it now. Maybe ask her significant other? He might have an idea...maybe she's been hinting at a piece of jewelry she'd like (what a surprise if you got if for her !:)
Or how about this...a gift basket with spa items or a thank you gift basket.
Here's a link to one, just for an idea-you could make one up if you wanted to with her favorite snacks etc. You can spend exactly what you want this way too. I made one for my mom for xmas that had things like olay lotion (her favorite), candles, bath gels and bath salts, her favorite tea, biscotti, cocoa, etc.
It was very personalized b/c I put things I knew she liked into it and I put one of those tiny books with quotes about mothers in it. I then used colored saran wrap and tied it at the top. It looked good. You can also get the real stuff to wrap it in at a craft store like Michaels. :
I think that is what I will do. Next week I have to drop something off to her house so I will raid her room and bathroom for ideas!! I like doing the basket thing!!

How about a collectible, like a Lladro piece that replicates your relationship with her. A crystal picture frame with pics of the two of you. A nice pen like, mont blanc or what about a watch? Just some ideas from me .........

Oooooh! Also check out Evaneden's post below this one!, She was MOH and the bride got her a shadowbox filled w/ pics and keepsakes of their friendship!
