I went out tonight with my sister and best friend. We went to a couple of places on bell blvd in bayside. The problem is we seemed to have outgrown these places - we literally did not know half the songs that we heard tonight.
Can anyone recommend a cool place in queens or nassau that has dancing and good music that people in their mid-thirties can appreciate
Thanks

Christine, I don't have any suggestions for you, but I hear you on that one!! We haven't done the club scene in while and mainly we do dinner and drinks only. I'm looking for some excitement too (but that may be on for now until after baby arrives, LOL)!

My Favorite is Chelsea Street on Hempstead Tpke in East Meadow. Its all different Age groups and its not like the 18 year old teeny boppers with fake ids. They are also owned by the same people that own Zacharys which is in the same strip mall which you have to be 27 ( i think) to get into. but you pay for one and play at two. heres their web site! chelsea streat and zacharys.

I don't have any suggestions, but I feel your pain. FH and I feel the same way about chain restaurants.

Thanks for the suggestions! 99% of the time we are fine with regular pub type places, but every once in a while the girls like to go someplace and do some dancing
