I have a question. My FH wanted to get a designer suit for our wedding. So many people are telling him that he cant get a suit because the ushers will all be wearing tuxedos and he will be wearing a suite.
My question is, are any of your FH getting a designer suit and if so, what are the ushers wearing. I am so confused. My FH doesn't want to buy a tux because when will he ever wear it again? He will get more out of a designer suit.
Also, if your FH is getting a suit, what designer and where are they purchasing it?
TIA ladies, I really appreciate it!

Re: Suit/Tuxedo
i would either have them all wear suits, and the groomsmen can be told to wear a black suit they already own (or whatever color FH gets), or make them all wear tuxes and tell FH to rent a tux

Re: Suit/Tuxedo
its his wedding, he can do whatever he wants. Id say as long as the suit and tuxes don't clash with each other. Its a day for you two to do how you want to and if he wants a suit he can keep he should get it!! jmo
my fh is going to rent his tux with the guys because he has a great suit and free alternations for life so he doesn't need another and that one won't go with our theme or the day itself

Re: Suit/Tuxedo
My FH is wearing a suit and had all of his groomsmen buy the same suit. It's certainly not a fancy 'designer' suit but we got them all from Men's Warehouse when they had their buy one get one free sale. Basically everyone got a $500 suit for half price, not much more than what you'd pay to rent a Tux and now they'll all have something after the fact. FH was set on not wearing a tux and I was set on the guys all matching so this was our compromise and I think it'll work out nicely....HTH!

FH is wearing a tux...but wanted a designer suit. I don't think anything is wrong with that...just make sure its uniform so the pics come out sharp.
