summer 06 brides

What have you done so far? I feel like Im behind. I have the place and the dj....next i know i need the photographer...what should be next?!! thanks!

I'm more Spring, I guess, but I have my hall, my church, my photographer, my dress and I'm working on my DJ now.

im in the same boat as you.. im planning on getting things done this summer..

ive met with 2 photographers and 1 dj and 1 florist...

im leaning toward the dj (high voltage) and photo b/c of everyone's rec. .. other than that - im looking around for affordable florists..

the big thing is the dress!!

I am officially on the waiting for the date to get here list. The only thing left is programs and menus which will be done later. I will be using Sonic Stef (a former bride and current LIW vendor) for those.

I'm summer 06. All I have so far is:

ceremony site
reception site
Band (will do ceremony, CH and reception, although we may end up getting a harpist for ceremony instead)
Photographer

next is officiant (kind of important we thought we had one but it didn't work out), florist and my dress!

I'm really a late spring, but it's been hot enough for summer!!

We've got the hall (also having ceremony there)
DJ (playing ceremony, CH, and reception)
My dress and I just bought jewelry!!!!
Wedding World: Photographer, Videographer, Flowers, Invitations, Limo (not all done tho!)
Picked out BM dresses, just have to make sure they all like it
Picked out favors (I think), have to order
Started DIY projects
Currently looking for an officiant
Have MU trial appt, need someone for hair
Have Toasting Flutes, Knife/Server, Unity Candle

I feel like I did a lot, but there's still so much to do!!!

Don't worry! I only have the church and the hall booked. Now I am starting to work on the photgrapher/videographer and the DJ. I finally made appts with photgraphers so now I feel like I am getting back into the swing of things and getting things done. It is really scary when you think about all of theings that you have left to do and only a year to go. WOW

Hey an 05 summer bride, needing some distance so I popped on your board..... don't worry for those who haven't booked vendors...we got engaged last August and are getting married in 10 days...we booked most vendors (besides hall/church) in October and still had plenty to choose from!! The only thing I didn't get my first choice one was makeup (and I called in November). GOod Luck and Congrats to all!!! Also just an FYI, I had to change my limo co. with under two weeks to go and it wasn't a problem at all!!
