i'm doing shades of pink and green (haven't decided exactly which pink and which green i want yet)... but i think purple is great, that was my second choice, like a light lavender or lilac

haha - I am doing the same too! Not sure if I am going to incorporate light pink or light color though for the flowers, but I am going to be adding light green and white to the flowers too. I LOVE the dark shade of purple for the BM dresses - plus it will look so good on my BMs

For flowers I was thinking light pink and green hydrangeas, white cali lilies and pale purple roses. . . . . Did you get your BM dresses?
I haven't looked yet, but I like some Bill Levkoff, and Jim Helm dresses.

edit: You are getting married on my Birthday, actually it will be my 30th B-day! Yikes!

LOL! I just turned 30 so I feel your pain I am not 100% sure what flowers I am using, all I know is that I want cala lillies, hydrangeas and white orchids somehow mixed in. As for the other flowers - I am totally not sure. Haven't looked in to BM dresses yet (that is next on my list of projects) - hope to have them picked out w/in a month or two. I was looking at some in Priscilla of Boston that were pretty...but who knows what I will end up with! The Jim Helm ones are pretty too...

people say not these days you can choose any color that you want it doesn't matter the season but i still feel that every season has its colors and shade! i've seen black in the summer and it looks great! you can't go wrong with black ever!! i want to do purple for the spring! but i want a dark purple i am still doing it! but the ideal colors will be apple green, pink, canary yellow but i choose to stick with my favorite color purple!!

i really think purple can work! in the summer

I'm doing a shade of purple for the summer too, either eggplant or plum -- I still have to find the right designer. I love the deep purples! I want to get bright flowers so they stand out against the deep purple. I'm thinking green and pink flowers.

Either a lighter blue and sage or light blue and yellow. Still deciding!

Coral and Teal. At first I wanted to do coral and purple. but then thought it wouldnt match as much as teal would :)

I think purple is great for any season. Im doing mocha/champagne for the BM dresses and ivory & pink for the flowers
