What colors are you using for your summer wedding??? I'm so torn with colors. My wedding is a sat. night so i was originally thinking doing black tee length dresses would be classy and elegant and then add really bright pink/orange/purple flowers to make it more summery.
But I also love yellow for the summer... maybe yellow and pink?? i know the aqua blue is popular too which is pretty... i dont know... give me your ideas!!!

I'm having a lavender/violet color for the bridesmaids and MOH will wear a three-color dress that's champagne, chocolate and lavender... and the flowers will be lavender, pink, cream, some greens/yellows maybe.

for my summer wedding i am doin blue yellow orange and white.

Well technically, I'm not a summer wedding...I'm just before summer. But I don't pay attention to the whole 'seasonal colors' thing. My BM's will be wearing a dark red...kind of like a scarlet.

I love the black with bright colors idea.
We are (as of today...who knows what it will be tomorrow) doing seafoam ish/sagey green and a light blue. Think ocean colors. However, I'm all into periwinkle lately so perhaps that's the color. I don't think you need to let the season dictate, but if you want to the black and bright colors is a great idea.

My wedding is a Saturday evening in June at the GCH. I wanted it to be very formal, traditional and elegant. My color theme is champagne/mocha/ivory/baby pink. My BMs will be wearing champagne gowns and will carry white and baby pink bouquets. Invitations, etc., will be beige with brown font. Most of the wedding will be champagne and brown with lots of white and ivory, and then baby pink accents here and there. I think it is very summery but also elegant.

I love the black idea with bright colors to make it summery. Black is very complimentary on everyone! MY best friend is getting married this July. We are wearing black dresses...and she is tying sage green in.

i think all of your ideas are good.. its what you think works the best for your day. I think you need to shop around and see dresses in person to see which colors and styles really look good together.

I am a Saturday night in June and I am having my BM wear Slate Grey
It is your wedding so choose the colors you like not just the 'seasonal' colors

I am thinking of doing coral (not sure if its the coral pink or coral orange). I'm not a fan of the J Crew dresses, but they have a lot of coral dresses now or tea rose as they call it. Haven't thought of shopping around for BM dresses yet - probably this summer
Anyone have suggestions for flowers if I went with the coral theme?

I do like your idea with the black and pink/ purple etc... We are doing 'spice' dresses which is an alfred angelo color (almost coral/orangish) with yellow sunflowers and I bought the girls yellow flip flops to dance the night away in. We're also going to have the purples/orange/pink gerber daisies as flowers in centerpieces and such (mayb in BOK too??)
I do like thoes bright colors, especially for the summer.
