Summer Flowers.....

I would like to see some pictures of Bo-k's for a summer wedding. My BM dresses are Platnium, I know any color would go but i would love to see if anyone has any pic's so i can get ideas....Thanks!

Hi,

With platinum dresses you could do so much! For the summer I would stick with pastels. A nice bouquet of light pink calla-lillies I think would look nice.

Try www.weddingchannel.com - they have a ton of bouquets to look at!

I was just in a wedding a week ago where we had platinum dresses and burgundy mini calla lilles. That was the first time I saw a bouquet of calla lillies and it looked awesome. I am June '04 so I haven't really picked my colors yet, but hydrangeas are my favorite. So that is an option.

This is trully just my opinion, but I think that red would go lovely with platinum, but yellow and orange are warm colors and platinum is a cool color. See how they look against a swatch, but you may find you want to stick with reds/burgandys out of the 3 colors you mentioned. JMO. :)

these are the flowers from my July wedding..

the BMs wore 'kiwi' and the jr Bms wore 'buttercup'

and these were our centerpieces...

I told him to put colorful summer flowers in the centerpieces...as my theme was 'summer garden'

I'll be getting married at the end of June and we are using white roses for me, purple roses for my MOH (she's wearing a blush/pink) and these are our centerpieces.
