Summer Fridays

Does anyone ever feel that Fridays should serve as a weekend day during summer? I go CRAZY Friday's, especially during the summer. I know a lot of people have summer Friday's but I don't.

I have summer Fridays but after three summers of them, I decided to stick with M-F 9-5. My commute is 1 1/2 hrs. each way (LIRR and subway) and to travel 3 hours round trip for a 3 1/2 hr. work day on Friday makes no sense.
