Hello Lovelies.

I hope everyone has had an absolutely fabulous weekend thus far!

Wedding planning is definitely something where you learn as you go, unless you have a weeding planner!

So, my question today is.........

Is there anyone who has stepped up and really taken charge in helping you with everything/anything? Has this person planned their own wedding? How did this change the way you feel about this person?

Thats it! Thats today's question! I always like to end on a note of gratitude.

My Answer:
FH sister really helped when I was dress shopping. She came to almost every place with me and I tried on about 70 dresses, so that says a lot! She got married last June so she was so helpful to ask things and knew a lot. Her & I weren't very close before this so it made me very happy that she was so into wedding planning and willing to help. It was nice to have someone who knew the 'in's & outs' of dress shopping!

Everyone has really stepped up for me...when I decided I wanted to go dress shopping on Saturday, I called everyone on Thursday (I just got an email saying there was a sale), and everyone was ready to go, no questions asked. I had only planned on going to one place, but when I asked everyone if they wanted to go to more, everyone was ready to go!

My MOH is really into weddings and all of the planning that goes along with them, and is always ready to talk weddings with me. We've known each other since we were 11, so she isn't afraid of being completely honest with me about everything. When I was trying on dresses, she would tell me if she didn't think it was 'the one.' When she (and everyone else) kept gushing about how perfect the one I ended up getting was, that really made me 100% confident in my decision.

She's also looked for BM dresses and shoes (for me) online, and is really into the smaller wedding details. I'm sure when it comes to table #s, she'll have tons of ideas.

My mom has also been 100% behind me with everything. Whenever I have an idea or question, she's there for me. And my dad has been a voice of reason throughout everything, reminding me about sticking to budget and not going crazy with things, because he doesn't want me to be upset about the costs after the wedding.

My FSIL has been incredible so far with wedding planning. She got married last year so she's still full of ideas and has the experience I don't have. So far she's introduced me to LIW, gone back and forth with me on ideas to make the wedding unique and perfect for us and has helped me set up RH appts for next weekend. I've made her my MOH, I couldn't imagine planning or doing anything wedding without her!

My parents of course have also been incredible. While they can't attend any appts or be in NY for much of the planning, they are always willing to listen to our ideas and have offered their own advice. My mom will be here for when I want to start looking for dresses, which means so much to me.

My Matron of Honor has been a big help. When we were looking for RH's, she filled in one weekend when FH had to work OT last minute and couldn't come. She's also coming dress shopping with me

My mom and I have always had a cantankerous relationship (at best), but she has actually been really helpful with everything! Well, almost everything.

My MOHs have always been amazing, so while they are both super helpful in their own ways, its nothing less than what I expected!

Honestly, from the BP and family, FBIL has been the most helpful with ideas and websites for discounts on some wedding items.

In general, my wedding partner-in-crime is Nilla24 and she has been a world of help!
