What time are you having your ceremony and your cocktail hour? how much time are leaving for pictures

I am still trying to decide because the Monday following is not a holiday

4pm ceremony
730 cocktail with everything ending at 1230
what do you guys think

My ceremony will begin at 2pm.
Cocktail Hour 7pm.
Reception 8pm-midnight

I left so much time in between because it will take a while to get to the Vanderbilt from Brooklyn....and we'll be taking pics there.

Ceremony - 11:30 am at Hall
Cocktail Hour - 12:00 - 1:00 pm
Reception - 1:00 - 5:00 pm

My hall includes a yacht arrival, so some of my pics can happen there and some can be inside, and outside on the water, etc.

well, save the yacht arrival... times are the same for me though

i figured my local guests would be able to have enough time to get ready for work the next day, and OOT guests would have enough time to rest and head home the next day (most are driving - they live in VA - so i'm guessing they'll go back the next day)

For our Sunday Wedding, we had a 2:30 ceremony @ church.
5:00 Cocktail Hr
6-10 Reception.

Call time is 6PM
Ceremony at 6:30PM
CH 7-8PM
Reception 8-12PM

We had ceremony at 4pm
CH was at 6pm
Reception ended at 11pm.

We took all our pics during the cocktail hour.

We had many discussions with my F about that, unfortunately we think that people tent to leave early on Sunday's and to consider that most our friends have to travel we decided to have reception from 6-11p.m

ceremony 3-4 p.m
Ch 5-6 p.m and picture hour

My cermony starts at 12pm and the cocktail hour is from 12:30-1:30 and the reception is 1:30 -5:30. We decided that we are going to take pictures before the cermony so we can enjoy the cocktail hour

My times are similar to yours. I think we will take as many pictures with our party and families that don't involve him seeing me in my dress prior to the ceremony so that the only pictures we need to take during CH are the ones that involve us together which should give us more time to enjoy our CH. I hear so many people miss the CH and hardly eat at their weddings. I want to avoid that.

ceremony is at 1130
cocktail hour is 12-1
reception is 1-5

pics are probably at 930-11ish. not definite though.. depends what time they'll let us in that morning.

CH at 6:00
Reception at 7:30 - 11:30 P.M.

Ceremony at 5:00
Cocktail hour at 5:30-7:00
Reception at 7:00-11pm

we are date twins and my ceremony is in brooklyn also

Invite- 6:30
Ceremony- 7:00
CH- 7:30-8:30
Reception- 8:30-12:30

Monday is a holiday though (Labor Day) so everyone has off. If we couldn't get labor day weekend we would have done Sat. night wedding (b/c we wanted night)- or ended much earlier on Sun.

My ceremony is to begin at 7:30
Cocktail : 8:00
reception: 9:00 - 2:00 am

Crazy huh? Thank Gd its the sunday where people have Monday off!

... oh, and pics, we will be doing before, we will meet at like 12:00 for pics.
