Re: Sunday Weddings
I have only been to a few weddings. All were on Sunday! I'm having my on sunday for a few reasons.
1. $$$
2. Timing- If I had it on saturday nite the reception would end at 1pm. FH parents are pretty old and they wouldn't be able to make it!
3. My MOH will be in nursing school and I know her schedule since I'm in it now. She will be taking clinicals on saturday and will only leave her a few hours to shower and get ready.
So I decided to have it on sunday and it will end early. I will probably have a low key after party or take the limo to go out for drinks afterward with anyone who wants to go.
I had originally booked for the sat. nite and switched. Guess what? Not only do you pay less per person but the minimum requirement is less too. We are saving.... $6K! That's right. $6000 for the exact same service and menu. Everyone else agreed that it was the right thing to do.
