Re: Sunday Weddings ?
Hey Date Twin!. I am getting married at the same date/ time as you and almost all of the people coming to our wedding took off from work the next day.
We actually just went to a Sun nite wedding last weekend---I had never even met the couple before---and I took Monday off.
Don't stress.

Re: Sunday Weddings ?
I'm having a Sunday night wedding ending at 11:30. I'm worried about it to but about 30-40 of us are being picked up by a limo bus after the reception so I know all those people will be there . I'm sure some will leave early, I wanted to have the viennesse hour until 12:30 and i got talked out of it because there is so much food at the reception and cocktail hour part I didn't feel it was necessary. You have to go with what you feel and who wants to be there will be there!
If I had a sunday night wedding I'd take off the next day just to have a great time and then the next day off it will be fine!

What about the cigar roller I got for the viennese hour? How would it work if I didn't have a viennese hour.

Definitely! Or, use him for the last hour of the reception.
However, if you are worried about people leaving early - I would have him come during the cocktail hour.

what time is reception ending? Our ends at 10pm..we start at 4pm....people that can stay will...I know some people are taking off Monday :)
It won't end till 1 am . I am getting married at the hall . Cocktail hour , reception and viennese hour. I'm thinking the vienesse hour is really whats pushing it to be so late. But I really want one.
Hey if I was at your wedding I would stay for a Viennese hour...love those but couldn't afford it....
1ma is kinda late for a Sunday...but hey it is your day and people will want to stay and celebrate with you....the only issues you may have is the people with kids as they may leave early but I am sure others will be partying with you till the sweet end!!

Re: Sunday Weddings ?
I planned a Sunday day wedding so i wouldnt keep people out all night, but now people are complaining they have to get up early.. So really you can never win. People like to complain. Ive learned to ignore them and know that the people who love me will be there for the whole day.

One of my dearest friends was married 11/4/07 - a sunday - the only thing different was that we didn't drink as much because we all had to work the next day - we all stayed until the end !
