Sunset Harbor

Just added them to my list because of the price per person that I've found... But is there a reason they come in so low? All of the reviews are glowing but I'm wondering if there's some other reason it's at a lower price point.

Here's an example... I read that captain bills sometimes gets nixed because brides don't like the sound of that on their invite and don't like seeing the parking lot from the bay view house (neither of which I care about), so those are 'drawbacks' that I can deal with.

Also, the sunset harbor food is reviewed as 'great' but is it 'great' for the price or compared to more expensive places?

Not familiar with Sunset Harbor, but I'm a Captain Bill's bride and totally agree with your statements about it. You definitely have to dive in a little deeper and talk to people who have had weddings there before! And definitely make up your mind based on what's important to you! Like yourself, a parking lot and the name were definitely not deal breakers for a beautiful room with a water view and awesome food!

Idk if you have checked them out yet...my uncle's friend got married there and my uncle said it was fabulous. There were several 2013 brides that got married there. It was very popular on the boards. I went and checked it out. One wedding at a time, very nice probably got redone bc of Sandy. I didn't love the cocktail hour space. They also have 3 menus the cheapest is very minimal, small not many options. But I did hear food is very good.
