SUPER DUPER VENT
So I work as an HIV medical social worker in a really crappy community. Walked into work today and my hallway had the most horrible stench, no matter how much we sprayed and cleaned the smell just kept getting worse, I eventually had to leave my office cause I was getting really bad headaches and did not want my asthma to start acting up. So lunch time rolls around and I tell my boss to open the side door and let the hallway air out while we are away, so he says ok and I leave. I come back around 1:20 and the smell is gone, I ask my coworker who is a former nyc police officer what the smell was, and he says 'oh it was crack' someone was in the back alley next to the vents smoking crack and the fumes were coming into the hallway, so yeah, I spent hours breathing in crack and never knew it. Then around 3pm another horrible stench makes it's way into our hallway, my coworker says omg it smells like Va gina in here, again I call my boss and he comes over and he is like 'omg' 'what is that smell? it smells like rotting fish, and it's coming from the ladies room' So I said, yes we have a fish smell invading the hallway and it's coming from the ladies room, what do you think it is?' he had no clue. ![]()
so I walked away, and him and housekeeping go into the bathroom only to find a nasty pad in the trash can. Seriously, how long did they keep that thing on for it to smell so rancid???? I REALLY REALLY NEED TO FIND A NEW JOB. Preferably one where I don't have to inhale crack and vaginal odors.
