SUPERSTITIONS???

Ok I am bored, so thought this would be a cute topic. What Superstitions do you believe in and must do????
Here are some of mine:

I am a freak when it comes to spilling salt and having to through it over the shoulder.

Every time someone says 'What if......' and it's bad, I have to say God for Bid after or before it.

Always do the knock on wood

If the time is 11:11, I always make a wish

What about you guys?

I don't know why, but I lift my legs every time I go over train tracks. I think I heard it from a friend many years ago... weird!

Also, if I ever look at the clock @ 11:11 I make a wish.

Never walk under a ladder.

I think that's it....

Ok, I'll admit I'm very superstitious

I'm big on 'knock on wood' and 'God forbid'
I don't walk under ladders, open umbrella's indoors, cross the path of a black cat...the list could continue......

hmmm, i try not to step on cracks - when it's possible...

the whole ladder thing...

i think that's it...

i have A LOT of qwirks, tho... let's do a spin-off!

I don't know if this is a superstition so much as a quirky thing that I do. I can't go to sleep unless all of the doors are closed in the room...the bathroom door and all of the closets must be closed. I told FH that I don't want the boogieman to get me.

LOL! I do the same thing. The bathroom door is the only thing that's allowed open b/c I drink a lot of water and get up to pee during the night. I don't want to walk into the wall.

The closet and office door has to be closed.

Holy crap now that is weird!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I definitely have a few:
1. I am always knocking wood and saying God forbid.

2. When driving over rail road tracks I always lift my feet.

3. Hold my breath when driving past a cemetery.

4. Even though I have a black cat of my own, I do get freaked out when one runs across the path I am driving.

5. Do not walk under ladders.

6. I hate it when I'm driving on a highway and a lamp post light goes out. Someone told me years ago that it's bad luck and it stuck with me.

7. I have stepped in dog poop and have had a bird crap on me AND never saw money after. So that myth is a lie!

But one thing that I DO believe is bad luck is using engagement or shower gifts BEFORE the wedding... I morally just wouldnt be able to bust out some gifts and use them if we werent married yet... IDK! Im a weirdo like that!!!

And also- coming from an off the boat, old school italian family- we make ALL of our sauce in the summer. The process involves jarring the sauce and boiling all the jars. We MUST make a cross out of 2 twigs and throw it into the pot.. to bless the sauce... otherwise the sauce wont be good

Gezz, in my family its almost inevitable,,,

Oh & whenever i go somewhere I tie a lil red ribbon on my bra. Wards off the evil,

No baby showers until the baby has arrived

No Pearls the day of the wedding.

Yes it is! And #7 is UNLUCKY to them...
Thats why I wasnt worried about our Friday the 13th wedding date!

whats THAT about???!!!!! I have pearls ALL OVER my dress!

I tap the ceiling in the car if I go through a yellow light. My mom asked me one day what I was doing I said I have no idea but I can't not do it. So if you see a spastic going through a yellow light tapping her roof it's just me.
