Supplies for Programs -- Help...

I`m trying to find tassels to bind our wedding program. I found some elastic ones in a notion store in the city, but because I`m folding lengthwise, it`s too small and crumples the paper. Has anyone found tassels (either elastic or non) anywhere? How are you binding the booklets? Thanks.

I bound the books by punching one hole in the binding about one inch from the bottom and running a thin ribbon up the binding and out through the hole, tieing the ribbon in a knot leaving two small tails.
