I think we should have a support group for all of us who can't help but peek at our registries. I can't help but peek and then every time i do, if something is gone, i then feel guilty.

I look at it this way...even if you know something has been bought, you don't know who bought so so it's still a suprize, right? Therefore it's perfectly fine...well maybe not perfectly but I say its OK

That's what I think (and I'm a major peeker).
I know when my shower is, they even sent me an invitation, so I have been peeking.
I argue that since I have a registry at Fortunoff and BBB, I need to monitor to make sure that there are things available on each one.

I hope my shower is VERY soon because I don't know if I can go another day without peeking! I have not looked yet but I am so anxious I am dying to look!!!! I am going to try to be good.

That's what one of my BMs said in support of my peeking, she said you need to be able to modify your registry to make sure there are good items available, etc...
