Surprise for FH....Please Help!

My fiance worked really really really hard to make my proposal a surprise. He had this one neurotic bride2be try and sabotoge it for me and he like isolated me from her for a long time. He worked hard!!!

I would like to surprise him with something at the wedding. He is so into making MY day special and I kind of feel bad for him.

Here are my ideas:
-Chocolate Fountain
-2nd photographer to photograph him getting ready
-Or a musical performance (Soloist) for the cocktail hr

Did anyone have or is having any surprises for FH?

I did the chocolate fountain mainly for him.. but he already knows about it

I am also having a big breakfast catered to his house that morning for him and his family and his gm so no one has to worry about cooking but everyone still eats.

I am also going to write him a really nice letter and have his best man hand it to him right before the wedding with a gift

That is so sweet! The breakfast!!!! I like that idea. The problem is he lives home with his parents so they will enjoy in my baby's surprise and I am not thrilled about that.

The letter I wanna do as well. That is nice.

I think the 2nd photographer is nice because it captures memories of him getting ready that you both can always look back on.

I'm surprising FH with a casino/cards themed grooms cake at the RD.

We live together but he is going to stay at his mothers the night before and get ready there. I am going to make sure its enough food for his whole family and the groomsmen.

The breakfast is a possibility. He has 12 brothers and sisters though as well. That is bigger than all the groomsmen!

I haven't quite figured that out yet but I was thinking of trying Create-a-cake in Port Jeff or the Rolling Pin in Setauket.

Is there something he wants really bad but would never treat himself to? I bought FH a mens bracelet b/c he looked at everytime we were in the store but always said it is too expensive. I am a sucker, I gave it to him alredy. But, he wears it everyday and loves it!

Re: Surprise for FH....Please Help!

I know my FH six years and in those six years he has not taken a real vacation
(our HM will be the first long vacation in years!) so, I'm thinking of a few things to do for him prior to the wedding, not at the wedding:

1-day spa just for him
2-a gift certificate to his favorite driving and archery ranges
3-a weekend get-away to myrtle beach--with a friend instead of me (flying him on Hooters Air just for the fun of it!)

I would go with either #2 or 3 of your choices. Keep in mind, he'll be happy with anything because he loves you!

I love the idea of the 2nd photographer - you'll always be able to treasure those moments and its the one part of the day you wont have to miss out on!

You better believe there is!! It was a joke between us because I didn't beleive it at first either. His married friends said their wives would never allow them to go on it and I was like -- why not? I think it's hysterical!

I'm going to get my FH a groom's cake of his car (his 2nd love next to me ).

ETA: I think all 3 of you ideas are great! What a tough choice. I love the 2nd photographer idea. If you were to choose 2, I would say go for that and then weigh whether he is more of a chocolate-aholic or music lover.
