Since I live in California and my shower is in NY, I know when it is, but I have know idea where, or what the theme will be etc.... but I am happy that I know so I can make sure I have my outfit picked out, and my hair and nails done etc....

Mine will be a surprise but we are always going somewhere so it'll be easy for me to be dressed up - FH is awesome at throwing me off at surprises so it'll be ok

i suggest you buy an outfit that you want to wear at your shower and give it to your mom, so she can have it there for you to change into...thats what i did..it worked out great

I know when my shower is. I actually wanted it to be a surprise, but my MOH told me about it, for some not-so-clear reason. I don't know where or what it is though.

My shower wasn't a surprise and it still was such an enjoyable experience! Even though I knew about it, I still felt overwhelmed with emotion due to everyone's generosity and the fact that it was MY shower and finally our time to enjoy and celebrate our upcoming wedding.
It really is your own personal preference!

I know when mine will be. The majority of my family is out of town. Rather than having everyone come in from out of town and hide from me, I would like to be able to spend time with them since they are taking the time to make such a long trip!

I knew only because I was living in NC at the time and we planned it around when I'd be home!! It made it soo much easier and in the end I was sp happy I knew!! I had weeks of anticipation and excitement (which was awesome) and I was able to pick out an amazing BCBG Max Azaria dress to wear the day of!!

i want it to be a surprise...i know someone whos FH brought her outfit with her to the hall where her bridal shower was so that she could change into it when she got there!
