Mine wasn't. I wanted it at the house my FH and I bought a few months ago, and my sister (MOH) lives in California, and 3 other BMs live out of state, so coordinating would have been impossible if everyone tried to hide it from me.
It was definitely a good time even if I knew about it!

Mine won;t be for over a yer, but I want it to be a surprise!! Never had ANY surprise parties....would like to have one for this!@

I found out, especially when I saw one of my BM the night before in a restaurant!!!!

surpirse..however my mom is so excited she shares things shes shouldn't...like the fact the invites went out, how many the place needs to be guaranteed (obviously not at my mom's house) so I do know some things!!

It is supposed to be. My mom was..still is trying hard. But the other day my FMIL said 'For Mother's Day..you know the week after your shower, we'll...'

Until I moved here, I'd never heard of such a thing. So, my shower with my family upstate won't be, but the shower with my FH's family will be![]()

I wana it to be a surprise, but with my mom who knows, she will probably give it away. Although, she kept the proposal/engagement a secret.
