Surprise Pregnancy 3 monrhs prior to Wedding!!!

Hello Brides,

My wedding is has been in the planning process for 1.5-2 years now. We just received confirmation that we are 4 weeks pregnant!! We decided to keep the baby. When should we tell our families?

The issues are:
~ If we keep it a secret, I will be 4 months pregnant at the wedding and probably will be showing. (I already went up 2 cup sizes!)

~If we tell my parents, or his, they will tell the whole family before we get to and if I miscarry risk the hurt of everyone be conerned and discussing it at the bridal shower or wedding. We want t

No matter if we divulge or secret, we want to keep the focus on the wedding, and then the baby.

I am so confused... any suggestions?

You can make the announcement to everyone at 3 months and honestly- the focus will STILL be on the wedding but with the focus on a beautiful family being formed.

I would say that you definitely want at least your parents to know at this point. They will want to share this with you and you'll want their support. Celebrate this, darling!

There is a bride- don't remember if she was '07 or '08 who was 4 months pregnant on her wedding day- I'll find the album and post on this thread. She looked amazing! Like a radiant Bride- as will you!

you might now be showing at 3 months so it's up to you to tell anyone a girl i go to school with is almost 3 months and you would never know she is pregnant !

How exciting!!!!! Congratulations!!! I agree with the other posters, if your parents can keep it quiet go ahead and tell them, if not tell whomever you want to know at 12 weeks. Good luck to you and I hope you have a wonderful wedding and pregnancy!!!!!

Dont ever worry about what their feelings are going to be if god forbid, you miscarry! Its about you and your husband and you should be more concerned about your well being right now.

If it were me, I would def. want our parents to know that we are expecting. I dont want to be hiding secrets from anyone. You guys should both be excited and enjoy all of this

ITA! But I think you can wait until you are at like 3 months. It's safer to wait the beggining out.

I would tell your parents and tell them exactly what you told us. You don't want others to know and you want to keep the focus on the wedding. I am sure they will respect your wishes.

Congrats!!!!!

I would tell family and friends at 12 weeks, that's when they say you out of higher risk for miscarriage. So that would be about a month before the wedding.

EDT TO ADD did you already get a dress?? maybe you can get something to hide the pregnancy if you want to at the wedding?
