So, I'm sitting around with my family and my aunt asks my mom (right in front of me), 'the shower is on june 4th right?' My mother turned bright red, there was silence in the room and my aunt I guess remembered it was supposed to be a surprise. Then she goes, 'or is it June 9th, or 11th? Oh what do I know.'
UGH!! I was looking forward to being surprised and my mom didn't want to make a big deal about it and ruin Easter. I am so upset!!

ugh i know what you mean. my mom and her friend did the same crap to me and now i know all of the details except for who's coming i've never had a suprise before and i really wanted one but i guess not

oh i'm sorry! my mom was adamant about keeping my shower a secret but too may people commented to me about it today and although my mom doesn't know that i know, i will pretend for her sake

Ugh, I am sorry! That really stinks! I am sure your aunt probably feels horrible though. I remember once I slipped about a surprise to someone and I could not forgive myself! I am sure it was not intentional

A similar situation happened to me, but my FH and bridesmaids covered it up so I thought it was the wrong date. I'm sorry
