You guys already have a mortgage committment and a closing date right? It is taking us SO long! Now, if we could only take care of the floor problem....

Hey Jenn,
Yup mortage commitment is in and the closing date could be whenever we want at this point though we are trying to hold off until the end of school, but if the owners push for it then we will do it sooner.
We had everything within 1 month which I think, from what I have heard is extremelly fast. The owners were the original owners so they had the original survey and being that there was only 1 owner I don't think that the title search took more than 2 days.
To be honest, I don't think the time frame that we are moving at is very typical, I could be wrong though.
Don't worry Jenn, it will get there. I always thought 2-3 months was the norm.
I was happy to hear that your homeowners were spliting the cost of the clean up with you!!! That is great!

Hi MrsTC! We DON'T have a closing date yet. We are on hold cause the seller didn't have C/O's for our extensions! To make a long story short, we don't know when we are closing yet. It sucks! We do have a mortage waiting though. I have a great guy if you want his #. Good luck w/ the floors.

Sorry to jump in on your thread but we have our commitment too but no closing date!
I am jealous of those of you who have had a smooth process, ours has been long (had our inspection on Feb 21) and unfun since day one but we should get our closing date any time now!!!
