SWAMPED with work... NWR

Well, only 2 more days left in HELL!! I have so much work to do and not enough time to do it.

My bosses aren't speaking to me and when they do, they are very snide. I cannot wait to leave here. FI is upset because when someone leaves, usually a collection is taken. Well, no one has bothered to collect for me. Also, usually a dinner is planned and since tomorrow is my last day, they plan on doing nothing. I cannot wait to be free from these nasty, mean people. I have also decided that even if FI is here by the time the invites go out (hopefully he won't be) none of these people are invited to my wedding. I cannot believe that people are so selfish and cannot he happy for someone who is moving on. I have been here almost 4 years (including time as an intern) and they don't have enough decency to treat me with respect.

Thanks for listening to me rant. FI is so upset with the way I am being treated that whenever I talk to him he becomes really angry.

Aww Hollie, sorry to hear that. Hang in there, it will soon be over for you. I just hope your FH can soon be out of there too.

I am so sorry..I can only hope these trolls are planning a surprise for you..that would be the only thing to justify not doing anything for you. That is horrible and you must be so happy and relieved to leave such a place. Good Luck in the future!

hollie - that stinks.

i bet they are so mad cause you are such a great worker and they know they are losing a gem.

i hope your FH gets outta there fast too!

Thanks ladies. It just S U C K S becuase I am a good worker and I cannot believe that they are treating me like this! I get so angry thinking about it... just 2 more days. Oh, my supervisor, who is normally nice to me, is now trying to start all sorts of trouble with the people that I am friends with at work! Can you believe it? I feel like I am back in high school.

Sorry to here that. Just think of it this way. They like u so much they dont want u to leave you are probably a big asset to the co. so they are petrified not knowing what they will do without you. Also remember that these people are really not important in your life.

Is that why you haven't been on?? I haven't seen you post in a few days. Im sorry your swamped. Later for those people. I too work with a bunch of winners. One woman I work for is completely braindead. i have no patience for her.. and the others (Including her, actually) never EVER show any sort of appreciation for ANYTHING I do. But whatever.. thats a whole other story. Listen.. Do whats best for you.. They are just sorry they are losing such a great girl like you. Their loss. Oh well, too bad for them. People can be just so bitter sometimes. Hollie.. Your leaving. Dont stress it. Take it easy.

OMG, the same thing happened to me! I worked for a firm where they treated us basically as work slaves, so a co-worker of mine and I decided to look for other jobs and it just so happened that we both found wonderful jobs and gae notice that same week! Oh man, did my bosses freak! They didnt speak to me for the whole lasttwo weeks that I was there, I went through all my files to make sure that all was in order, I even made a spread sheet of all my cases and their status and what needs to be done!!! No collection was made for me, and the only thing I got was a 'Good Luck'! So my advice to you is (unless it has to do with other people's lives) kick all this crap under the desk and let them find it when you leave...

Aww Hollie, I'm so sorry to hear that!! I know it's hard but you shouldn't let it bother you. That's exactly the reason why you're leaving, so there not doing anything but making you feel better about your decision.

I know how you feel, even tho my FI and I both work for the same company we've both decided we don't really want to invite anyone from there. They're just horrible people and you don't want them to be a part of your special day!!

You're almost done... just hang in there!! And try not to let it bother you, you are moving forward from that place and you should leave all those people and their negativity behind you.... It will be hard since FH works there, but you know what I mean... Best of Luck!!! And

aww- Hollie, I'm sorry. just remember, miserable people will always be miserable, and can't stand to see someone else NOT like them- miserable!!

I hope John gets out of there soon....and you always have US to meet with for dinner!

Oh Hollie, I'm sorry your coworkers are treating you so badly! There is no excuse for such childish behavior. I'm sure they are just sorry to be losing such a great colleague (YOU), but there are more mature ways to handle the situation. You will be gone from there before you know it, and on to much better things. Hopefully your FH will soon be out of there as well! Hang in there, you're almost done with these people...

I'm so sorry Hollie! But just think, you are free from it really soon. And then you'll have a great new job that you'll love and you won't have to deal with these people. Hopefully FH can get out of there too and you'll both be free.
