Swan club

Swan club

I'm an 07 bride (to be) and I have a question about the swan club.
I assumed that during the coctail hour the food would be inside but there would be tables outside also so the guests could sit outside.
When I called today to ask if they could put out some extra chairs so their is enough seating for everyone, they said they only put out 150 inside and they couldn't guarentee that anything would be set up outside. I was so upset.
Any swan club brides use the outside area for coctail hour ?
Also, we invited 238 but & expecting around 215 to show up, do you think people will be squished in the camelot room ? It's too late now but I was just wondering. When I saw it again it seemed small. Thanks!

i am a camelot/swan club bride also and I know what you mean about the outside cocktail hour...

my suggestion would be to rent some tables privately ... i just rented from a company for my eparty and might do the same in order to set up some tables outside of the cocktail location!

also ... you will be fine as far as how many people you are having - during the cocktail hour, people walk around and mingle anyway!

FM me if you want details on the rentals - also, there are pics of the tables in my album (eparty 777)

WOW, check with the swan club first. They may not allow you to bring in your own (or hire) another place for tables & chairs. Def. checked before you do this.

My cocktail hour wasn't outside. It was in this room that appears to be outside. Most people were walking around anyway. They likely can't set up a ton of other chairs/tables b/c they may have other weddings/events going on that use the area in their contracts. I would ask before renting to be sure you can bring them in.

As for being cramped, our DJ said 200 is about as tight as it usually gets and that's definitely 'crowded' but I can tell you that at any given time, 30 people will easily be outside and another 5-10 in the restroom. The only times EVERYONE will be in there at once is for your entrance and to eat the meal.

Thanks, that's a good idea, I would have never thought of that.
