I assumed that during the coctail hour the food would be inside but there would be tables outside also so the guests could sit outside. When I called today to ask if they could put out some extra chairs so their is enough seating for everyone, they said they only put out 150 inside and they couldn't guarentee that anything would be set up outside. I was so upset. Any swan club brides out there who used the outside area for coctail hour ?

My cousin was married there about 7-8 years ago (so my info is dated). His CH was in a tent outside off of the main room. I believe the food was set up in the tent and there was plenty of seating. At the weddings I've been to, most people don't sit down at the CH, anyway...

I went to a wedding there this past May. The food was set up inside, with plenty of seating and there were also at least 10-15 tables set up outside under the tent. People were just going in & out as they pleased. I don't know if the bride asked for the tables to be set up or not. I just assumed it was like that all the time b/c the tables were out there all night for people to use. I don't see why it would be a problem for you to have the table and chairs outside too!

It depends on which room you choose, the smallest room is the room that has the cocktail hour outside becasue it is a small space outside. But, like somebody said before people dont really sit down during cocktail hour
