Hello ladies!
Have any of you ever heard of the 'Afterdeck' room at the SC? I just called there and the gentleman said there was the room for 100 people. (My guess is the Contessa). But for 40-60 people there is the 'Afterdeck....with the same view as the Contessa Room'.
My prob is it looks like we will be between 65-75 people....

Do any of you ladies have any pics of this so called room? He admitted that it was not on the website. It seems like they can't accommodate my middle of the road wedding. Any suggestions?

I don't have pictures but it is SMALL. I plan on having 50-60 people and even though I really liked the Swan Club overall I hated this room. I would picture it more for a small party probably with no dancing, in my opinion. I did like Westbury Manor's Hill room (50 person minimum), Larkfield Manor's Garden Room (50-60 person minimum) and Leonard's Empire Room (50 person minimum). You can see pics of the Empire room in my album, sorry they are not the greatest. I also heard that the Watermill has a samller room with a 50 person minimum. Also the Metropolitan has a really cool smaller room called the Metropolitan Club with a 50 person minimum and the Milleridge Carriage House has a 60 person minimum. If I think of anymore I'll let you know!

Afetr my 3rd time visiting the SC, I finally had to see what that room was like.... It is very tiny, but I thought it was nice!! And it has a hugeee bar right next to it... Seemed like a room you'd get for a smaller, maybe more informal kinda party where there'd be lil dancing and much more socializing at the bar

That was my impression
