Has anyone gotten married at the Swan Club or been to a wedding there. I booked my wedding there in the Camelot room, and plan on having no more then 200 people. Did the room seem crowded, or was it big enough for about 200 people? They say it holds 235, but I went back the other day and it looked smaller so now im worried

I've been there only once and that was for my senior prom in 1997! I have no clue which is the camelot room. But something to keep in mind - if they tell you 235 max then it will be squishy. 200 should be a good size, but I'd try to keep it to that or a few less.

i am getting married there as well, but in the garden room...the camelot room is pretty large, and i think if they said 235 as max, it is fine....do you know how many people you plan on inviting? and if so, you can call them and ask how many tables fit in there and how many at a table just to give you a better picture...

I don't want any more then 200 I have rcvd a cople posts that is gets crowded so now im shooting for 170 or 180

well, just to put it in perspective. the garden room is MUCH smaller and the max is 165...I have seen it maxed out and it is fine, so even if you have less than 235, you do not need to stay as low as 170 of you do not want to...that room is def big enough for 200 at least...but if you want to eliminate people like we wanted to, you could always go with the whole our room will not hold that many

I was also concerned about the same thing. I've heard that 180-200 is doable, but don't go over 200. I personally have never been to an event, but I had a few friends check it out after I booked.

I was originally thinking since the room can hold 230, I would have around 200 but I also am trying to keep it at 170 just to be sure my guests aren't crowded. I HATE when people can't back up b/c their chair is up against someone else's. When i went to the showcase a few weeks ago, it seemed that there were 19 or 20 tables, and honestly, it looked fine, it didn't look crowded, so I think we'll be fine.

Yeah I went to that showcase too ! I was expecting the room to be dressed up But I really don't want it to be too crowded I think I rather play it safe and stay under 200. I will prob just invite no more then 200 and hopefully I get some cancellations LOL

HI! I was married there in October. The room was plenty big. I had 150 guests, and think that 200 would fit fine. Congrats! Good Luck Planning!
