Swan Club

Swan Club

Hey girls,

I went to look at the swan club last night, I really liked it minus the moron who talked about the place. Anyway, do you girls know what their min. is for the Contessa room, which I believe is their smaller room? I am meeting with our church next Sunday and I have yet to decide what I am doing!! REAL SMART, I know but I am very indecisive and I can't decide on what to choose.

I got this far.... I do NOT want a December wedding as most of the places I visited will not remove their Christmas decorations. I LOVEEEEE Christmas but I don't want it in my wedding. So I am back to a date of either October or November.

So if you girls can list some affordable venues in NASSAU, I would greatly appreciate it. I do not want to go over $80p/p after tax & gratuity. Due to my father's health problems, I need something with that is handicap accessible.

I am open to Fri-Sun late afternoon/evening weddings. So I am flexible, but I need something FAST so I can look at it next week and have something to give to my priest.

Fox Hollow?

We loved it right away .. and pricing was reasonable! We also have a low minimum on a Sunday night.

Re: Swan Club

I contacted them and they gave me a price of 82p/p before taxes and gratutity, so I crossed them off my list. I told them anytime in October/November of next year (2012) Fri/Sun, and thats what the guy told me.

Btw, we both really liked Larkfield manor but their prices came to 92 p/p after everything was calculated in.

Re: Swan Club

Sorry, that was the ONLY place I will travel to because that is too far for me to travel.

So Nassau recommendations would be helpful...so far I am going to contact Crest Hollow tomorrow and see what they offer.

Any others?

Sorry for crashing! lol. I agree with this about the minimum...and as far as the Christmas decorations. They do not really decorate the rooms for the holiday. My FSIL had her E-party there in december, and they only had a christmas tree in the main hallway, and nothing else really christmasy.

Just putting in my 2 cents. lol Good luck on your search!

Hey,

Thank you!! I went to look at the San Souci and I know they would decorate the room with decorations, and I just didn't want that.

You are a swan club bride, do you know what their min, are there?

Yes I am a fellow swannie. I can't really tell you the minimum because I have no idea! lol. Her party was in a smaller room (contessa maybe), and she had about 50 people. I am having it in the room downstairs in the garden room and expect around 100.

How many people were you hoping to invite?

The contessa room is what we saw last night, but I dealt with Michael who seemed to be a Debbie Downer, and I didn't like his sales pitch. I originally wanted it to be 100-115 people, but that makes it go over our budget. So I am looking to cut the guestlist to about 75-80 people which could make it in our budget.

My FH and I almost went with Swan Club, and we were looking at the Garden Room. The cocktail room is just lovely, and the price we were quoted at for May 2012 was very reasonable. You should ask for Jordana if you go back, she is wonderful!

I am sure the contessa room would hold that many, especially if my FSIL number was about 50, which is less. And my FSIL worked with Michael, and I am working with Jordana who I def liked much better.

Okay, I think I am going to make an appointment with Jordana this week, and I will check out Crestwood Hollow as well.

Thank you girls <3333

Any other recommendations? Can I negotiate prices with the Swan Club, especially with Jordana?

Not sure. Can't help you with that one. My moms friend actually owns the swan club so didn't have to do the whole negotiating thing.
