Swan Club - a little worried

We booked the Contessa room at the Swan Club. We were just concerned now becasue originally the minimum was 100 people and we had about that. now we might have 120. they say the room will hold 145, but my question is does that room really hold that much or will we be crammed in. im not sure if we should ask for another room, or it might be too open, or maybe im just freaking out. anyone have any ideas about that? we love the swan club but we are afraid and dont want anyone to be uncomfortable. thanks in advance

Swan Club - a little worried

The Swan Club was the first place that we looked at. My wedding is only 50-60 people, so we looked at the smaller room (don't remember the name). The cocktail hour would have been in a room outside of the reception room, which was more like a bar. After looking at several more places, I realized how small the room was. I was concerned about people feeling claustorphobic. If I didn't get such a good deal at the Watermill, I may have stuck w/ the Swan Club, but I know it would have always bothered me. The watermill's reception room is 2x the size of the Swan Club's for the same amount of guests. But, I don't know which room you have, since it's a bigger party. I would definitely ask, speak up to the Banquet Mgr about your concerns, so you are not stuck worrying about it.

Swan Club - a little worried

You might also consider how much space your band or DJ will need to set up. This can make a difference in how 'crammed' the room feels. I agree with Nina - definitely speak up to the banquet manager, so that you're not left worrying! Good luck!
