Re: Swan Club Bridal Showcase
OK I went to the SC last night and unfortunately it just wasn't for me.
Here is my pro & con review (from my point of view)
Pro's: Good Food Lot's of room (outisde and mostly inside) Nice outdoor grounds (for the most part) Room for cocktail Hour and pictures outside Service was good Can get married on premisies Food presentation lovely
Cons: The ceilings in the Garden Room was too low for FH If we did the Ymca forget it.... (That is the room I would need)
Ground sort of difficult to walk on I was wearing sticks and my heels were caught in and on everything both inside and outside
There were barely any lights on outside we drove right past the place.
All in all it just wasn't for me. I am extremely picky and it is the little things I worry about. For me I am clumsy as it is so I would definately end up on the ground for sure!
Had I went during a warmer month Im sure I would have felt differently but my imagination was frozen as were my hands.
All in all I had a good time and I was glad that I went.

I will be really honest and I do not want to offend anyone but I definitely did not like the food at all. Both of my BM's agreed. Maybe we have different tastes but that was our opinion.

Of the food I ate, I thought it was great! My mom loved the sole and I had chicken, ravioli and other pasta that was delish... I'm not big on seafood so I cant comment on that area.. My mom said she was 'pleasantly surprised' ... I guess she expected 'crap' because the price pp is low

I have to agree to an extent. The one chicken dish I had was decent and the other was rather on the salty side
FH enjoyed the Calamari and Salmon but didn't like the ravioli
It definitely wasn't the worst food I have eaten. I have been to weddingd at reputable places where they served dog food.
At my cousins wedding there was a huge hair in the cheese platter
