Swan Club Cake

I am getting married at the Swan Club in August 2010. Can anyone give me information about the Swan Club's cake. Did you like it? Can you provide pictures. Thanks!

They have some pictures on the swan club facebook and when you go in to choose your menu you go over all of the choices with your maitre'd.... the red velvet is the BEST

I wasn't too specific about what I wanted it to look like - but we dropped off our cardbox that my friend had made me a few days before the wedding and they managed to make our cake look just like it!



You can kind of see our cardbox on the left.


We had dark chocolate cake with black cherry filling... I'm bummed that the only bite of it I ate was the one we fed to each other, but it was delish!

OMG... my cake was freakin amazinggggggggggg!!!!!!! I had red velvet and they designed it to fit exactly what i wanted for my beach theme... From what I was told, the baker wasnt willing to do it, but my maitre d and bridal attendant were the ones who added all the extras... i <3 them!!!

OMG! Ur cake looks nothing like the sample they showed me at a Showcase the Swan Club Hosted. Your cake looks amazing!

So what you are telling me is that I don' have to choose from a pre-designed cake (I did not like what I saw). I can have them make a cake for me?

I am looking for a simple but elegant cake that matches my wedding colors. Do you know if the cakes are butter cream or fondant? Please all the help I can get regarding this matter is greatly appreciated!!!!!

Hope this isnt getting them in trouble LOL ... They did alot extra for me... out of sheer kindness which is why i love them I basically just showed them a pic of something i wanted... I said i dont care if its perfect just make it beachy... I said I would supply the chocolate shells that you see on and around the cake... plus i gave them the fencing that you see... They treated us VERY well!!!

We picked our cake a few weeks ago and they dont do fondant, so I picked a very smooth simple design that looked kinda of like fondant. I wanted two different flavors, but they said I could only choose one so we went with the red velvet. I wanted a very simple cake so I didnt make a lot of requests. I made a couple of changes and I just told them that I wanted it ivory and not white, they said it was fine.
