I thought I was going to book my wedding venue yesterday... that was until my FH and I saw the Swan Club in Roslyn Harbor.
WOW! What a gorgeous place! It's even beautiful now with no leaves on the trees - they have a 7 acre garden.
If you have any info about this place, can you please share?

Well I am getting married there is July 2006...I was concerned about the 3 weddings at a time...but I have heard it isn't a problem. At first I had heard mixed things about the Swan Club but there are mixed things about every (just about) reception hall. If you like it go with it!
you are so right about that. there is no perfect place. however, this is a great choice compared to others I have seen.

I think it is and its a great price too! Believe me I obsessed about this..but my mom works with people who had great receptions at the Swan Club. One man that she works with had a 3 of his daughters weddings there...
Look..someone will always have something to say and something will always go wrong with anyplace IMO...If you feel the SC is for you than go with it Janine24 had hers there in November..she might be a good person to ask about the foliage

No problem...its the truth though. When I came to peace with that statement I was less stressed...well about the Swan CLub atleast

FH and I booked the Swan Club. We will be in the Camelot Room. We are both really excited. We fell in love with the place right away. I was ready to leave the deposit the same day we saw the place, but FH wanted to sleep on it. I agree with a lot of the posts, no place will have 100% positive feedback. If you both like it, go for it...Good Luck!!!

I have learned a lot when it came to halls with LIW. Everyone have different taste in halls, some care about more than one wedding and other's don't. I personally, don't really care if it is more than one wedding as long as they make me feel like I am the only bride there that day. They start weddings at different times and end them at different times. There will be Raves and Rants about EVERY HALL that you go to.
