swan club showcase

So what did y'all think of last night's showcase? Any concerns, surprises or excitement?

I think we're going to go with the outside vendor for the cake. We were lucky enough the win a limo upgrade (gave it to the girl next to me), won a $500 in flowers (gave it back, all set with John @ FM), but kept the one night stay at the Andrew Hotel.

lucky gurl huh??? i would have loved the flowers certificate i got squat there.. i actually couldnt wait to leave bc the owner is sooo annoying...

i thought everything was good... liked all of the food except for the seafood newberg but thats my own opinion bc i dont like anything thaat tastes fishy... someone that i was sitting next to was like ripping the place a new a-hole... saying how disgusting the eggplant was and a few other things... i had to get up

as for the cake, i thought the cakes provided by sc were super delish!!!! i tried all 3 and loved them

I am the loser who screamed like a crazy person when we won the last Platinum package! I never win anyyyyyything so I was so freaking excited - I think FH was more embarrassed of me than excited.

Everything was good though - I loved the Hawaiian Chicken and the cakes were all soooo good!

I tried the Leonetti's cakes but didnt try any of the swan club cakes.

oh noooo... im really bad at recognizing people from here... you shoulda said something!!! i think we were around a table of 10ers bc one girl kept lookin at me like she knew me but didnt say anything and i recognized one of your girls that won the hotel stay... thank god she got picked... i thought she was going to have a heart attack if she didnt win something LOL

I really wanted that platnium package (I have it already but would definitely like it for free)

LOL! I really liked the Leonetti cakes (sheet cakes) but was a little disappointed by the Swan Club's red velvet cake. Maybe they aimed too high to impress but I agree the cake itself was dry.

It was good to see all the vendors and the place was packed. I was very lucky to win all that stuff, that's why we only kept one thing and gave back or gave away the rest. Congratulations to the last Platinum package winner. Now that's an amazing prize.

did you know they changed the menu? i dunno how long ago you booked, but theres def some differences

I was there last night. I recognized Gina too. Actually, I recognized your FH first but I am shy and feel weird going up to people. And FH was like no you can't just go up to LIW girls, that werid.

OMG valeri, I didn't know you won the Andrews stay. Now I don't feel as bad. I was getting mad at Michael just for giving things without raffling it off. But if it was one of the LIW girls, then I am happy.

Really? I'd never had red velvet before so maybe I don't know what it's supposed to taste like, but I thought it was delish!

I didn't even try the Leonetti cakes bc FH already tld me he didn't want to pay for the upgrade so I didn't want to try one and fall in love.

i would like intermezzo back in... and th eres no more filter mignon... some of the passed apps i wanted are no longer there as well, and they are reduced in number from like 10 to 7! carving station is the same... and i didnt take a look at the hot food section yet to see the differences

I was at the showcase also, we went to taste the cake and try to win the platinum upgrade which did not happen.
I actually loved the red velvet but that is also my favorite cake so we will see.
