Swan Lake

Anyone know the story of Swan Lake? I'm going to the ballet tonight and I want to know the basic story line.

I know it's something about women turning into swans ...

HELP!

I didn't know the premise until I was forced to watch Future Step-daughter's Barbie in Swan Lake tape.

I fell asleep during it, so I couldn't even give you a rough Mattel version. Sorry.

It's been years, but I remember somehting about the princess didn't want to maryy the guy the king wanted her to, so she was mourning b/c she couldn't be with the guy she wanted & her saddness turned into a spell or brought someone that cast a spell & turned her into a swan........Ugh.... I don't remember that well, but I think that was the basic idea.....

Meanwhile.....Have fun at the ballet
