Swap Update 11/9/03

So far I have rec'd cards from the following:

The following ladies owe me cards:

novbride - don't know when she will be home from HM

I wasn't going to send mine out until after thanksgiving, why don't you sort them all out now and give them a little more time. This way, if you get them, you can send them out quickly. If you don't get them, they are ready to go out.

I just heard from novbride and I am going to wait to get hers. i understand everyone wants to get them, but I wanted everyone to get a fair chance at getting them to me.

Mish....I think this has gone on long enough! If the last swapper has not sent her cards then either count her out (sendher cards back to her) or send what you have and she will have to send to us her cards!!! We are looking at almost a month late!!
This is unacceptable!!

I agree--- we should act like all those other boards and go on with the swap and dont allow those that didnt follow thru to join other swaps---

I want to see the cards!!!!

This has become a disappointing/frustrating experience for me

shelzyp...thats my point. She cam back from her honeymoon AFTER the due date of the swap and mish still doesnt have the cards!! Her cards should have been sent before she got married....or do not participate!!!

I think swap the cards now...the two MIAs have not been on at all...

just send us back the 2 extra cards...I'm sure we can put them to use...

I vote for excluding the 'participants' that have not fullfilled their obligation in a timely fashion.
I would like to be able to start writing out cards over Turkey Day Weekend, besides it's just not fair that we all hurried to complete them & get them to you & we're still waiting for slackers. JMO

Yeah, I say we just swap without them...I do not mind having some more of the same ones....so u can give back my extra 2 or maybe mix and match for everyone...however u wanna do it, but I say lets get going because I have already started wrapping my gifts and some of them have justa sticky on them to put one of the card swap cards on

I am sorry I have not been on much and missed these posts. I sent everyone an e-mail with the details.

I feel like its my fault. I am so terribly sorry for the delay, but novbride said I would have them by the 17th. I waited till the end of the week and still had not heard from her.

So as it stands we are missing cards from 2 girls. All cards will be sent out in mondays mail.

I am so sorry......I don't think I will ever organize anything again. I do not appreciate being put in the middle by them.

Its not your fault.....no matter what you do, there is always gonna be someone who screws it up for the rest of us!

I loved making my cards, and am looking forward to the ones I will be receiving in my package...just sucks some people could be so inconsiderate....it took a lot of time and effort in making the cards, and they should realize it. It does not reflect your organization at all..you laid it on the line, all they had to do was follow directions@!!

Mish - it's not your fault. They did not fulfull an obligation. We were all counting on each other to do what we said we would do and some people didn't do it.

I am looking forward to getting the cards from everyone else!
