Re: Swarovski
I collect Swarovski crystals too....I have a whole curio full of them. I've been telling my mother for years that when I get married, I want them as my toasting flutes. Mom actually bought them for us as an engagement gift. I did however, put the martini and wine glasses on my registry too, and a picture frame that I've always loved. I figure hey, put them on the registry. Who knows what'll happen?
If my mother didn't buy them, and no one took them off the registry, I'd have to buy them myself, to be honest.

Re: Swarovski
My FH bought these for us when he proposed. So we used them the night he proposed and at our E-Party and next at our wedding. It was soo sweet of him and I'm glad we've actually used them. Just an FYI Champagne tastes better out of them (if thats even possible )
Get them!!!

sounds like a science experiment you need to verify. try to explain it that way to FH. maybe he'll go for it. you know all boys love those 'mythbuster' type of shows.
